What Our Clients Say

We HIGHLY recommend Kris! She is incredible with children and truly an expert at her craft. She has worked closely with our daughter (4 years old) and therefore helped her to make significant improvements in her speech therapy in a very short amount of time. Kris immediately formed a wonderful bond with our daughter and then the results followed quickly. I can’t say enough amazing things about Kris – she’s absolutely terrific.

Sheila S.

Larkspur, California

Kris has been delightful to work with and was absolutely the perfect person to help my 13 year old son with his lisp. She made their meetings pleasant and productive and helped him learn techniques that corrected his lisp in a very short time. Because of her kind and knowledgeable guidance, he is now more confident and self assured as a result.

Elaine N.

Tiburon, California

Beyond being a wonderfully skilled speech therapist, Kris also has a natural aptitude for interacting with children and adults alike in a caring and supportive manner.

I first met Kris in 2010 as a graduate student of speech therapy, and she has continued to be an invaluable resource for me as a budding clinician. Furthermore, her listening ear and sound support/advice helped me navigate through the multifaceted world of speech-language therapy.

Additionally, her passion for mentoring students and speech therapists alike is particularly evident in her attention to detail, individualized advice, and compassionate demeanor.

Whether you’re looking for speech therapy for yourself or a loved one, or a competent mentor for advice/guidance, working with Kris is a wise place to start.

Kris started seeing our 6 yo son for some speech issues that were identified in his Kindergarten year. We were really happy with Kris’s work with our son. She was quite adept at sensing his needs, helping him with his speech issues but also the related social issues that would come up during their sessions. She is a skilled, knowledgeable, and professional therapist, and made the sessions quite enjoyable for my son.

In addition to her actual speech therapy expertise, I especially appreciated Kris’s responsiveness to my questions, accommodations to our changing schedules, prompt billing, calm and supportive demeanor, and honesty about the work that my son needed or didn’t need.

We had seen a different speech therapist (for this son and my other son), and by far, I think Kris has been the best one. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a child speech therapist. And she is also very nice!

Counseling for Children, Adults, Parents & Caregivers

Caring for a loved one with speech delays, social skill deficits, executive functioning challenges, or processing deficits can be especially challenging, with subsequent difficulties in family dynamics.

Because life can be overwhelming at times, we offer parent support and counseling sessions whenever the need arises.

Short and long-term issues can be addressed. You can significantly improve communication with your loved ones:

  • Support a healthy work-life balance
  • Reduce anxiety and stress
  • Improve time management and organization
  • Cultivate healthier and happier relationships

Our Speech Therapy Approach

Client relationships are at the center of everything we do. The relationship we have with you is equally as important as your speech therapy goals.

Short and long-term goals are created. Then, home programs are developed to support weekly progress. Thereafter, frequent updates on performance and progress help you track growth.

Rather than driving to appointments or having someone come into your home, our virtual speech therapy sessions give you the privacy and flexibility you need. Virtually serving families throughout California allows us to be anywhere you need us to be!

Aida’s love and fascination with science lead her to earning a B.S. in Cell & Molecular Biology at California State University Northridge (CSUN), where she continued on to receive her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in the area of Speech and Language Pathology in December 2012.
